This home was constructed a little more than on hundred years ago and is a goldmine of unrealized opportunity. When it was built in 1906 it would have been the sort of place an up-and-coming bank cashier or civil servant would have moved his family into when he got his first big promotion.   • One of the safest and most stable neighborhoods in Trinidad. People who buy in this area tend to remain for decades, if not for life.

  • Many turn-of-the-century details remain intact. Things like the ornate front door, antique chandelier-style ceiling fixtures, and the huge claw-foot bathtub. The exterior has hardly been changed at all.
  • The walk-out basement area is nearly a large as house itself. At some time in the distant past (we have an 88-year-old friend who lived there as a teenager) it was converted into a apartment. It's not livable now, but it would be possible to make it so (or add another story to main house, almost doubling the amount of living space) at far less cost than you'd normally expect for such a project.
  • The floor plan is surprisingly flexible. A third bedroom could be easily configured, or you could be productive in a home office without inviting customers into your living space. 
  • The kitchen features a walk-in pantry.
